Our brain needs a constant blood flow:
Without blood circulation we become unconscious!
The human brain is amazingAbout 20% of all energy generated in the human body is used by the brain!
Our brain has about 100 billion cells - every of these cells connects with 1000 other cells giving our brain a capacity of 1000000 billion connections. Some scientist say that every human brain has more cells than all the stars in our galaxy.
Our brain mass is about 3 pounds but has to deal with 30 billion bits of information a second.
So, you can see, that we all have powerful bio-computer in our head.
Did you ever try to run a computer without a program?
In the moment our brain starts to exist, it tries to learn, to get the input to function better, more efficient.
It is our task to provide this input - education is a powerful tool - it can help your brain to function better, giving you a better, more successful life!!
Throughout our lives, our neural networks are reorganizing and reinforcing. In computer language we call this process "input", while a doctor might say "stimuli", and a teacher would call them "learning experiences". Whatever name we use, the best way to describe how our brain works is|
"use it or lose it"
Think about a road system: Our brain is constantly checking if there are enough 'roads' for the traffic. A two-lane road can handle less traffic than a road with more lanes, with more connections. More traffic volume leads to more roads, so congestion's can be avoided. Direct roads without a detour accelerate our thinking.
Man is a social being
Our brain needs 'input'

Our brain grows, builds new connections when we train it, when we learn, when we open our mind. Our brain shrinks, loses connections when we close our eyes for new input, for new knowledge.
Scientists call this process 'body-mind interaction'. This action is what stimulates brain cells to grow and connect with each other in many complex ways. They do so by extending branches of intricate nerve fibers called dendrites - Greek dendron for 'tree'.
Imagine, what more 'tree branches', more connections in our brain could do to the world surrounding us. Everything would become more interesting. People would enjoy talking and communicating more, enjoy a greater depth of appreciation for certain things, gain more insight into life and generally would enlighten people's life. A constantly updated education will allow us to pursue activities and careers that most interest us, not just those we have been led to believe we are mentally capable of!
Brain positron emission tomography = PET scan|
is an imaging test that uses a
radioactive substance, called tracer
to look for disease or injury
Brain activities can be seen with a PET scan.
Smarter humans would also be healthier and longer-living, the scientists said, because they have a better grasp of what behavior leads to these positive attributes. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and even more, managing a chronic illness such as diabetes, can be quite cognitively challenging. That is the sort of challenge that a brain open to new learning experiences can be enabled to meet.|
There is a very good chance that higher-functioning brains would help us invent technologies to fix some of our bigger problems. A team of 10 well educated engineers that is capable to 'think outside the box' is more likely to come up with a remarkable innovation than a team of 10 engineers that just can use the knowledge taught during their university time. People with constantly updated knowledge, who able to see the 'bigger picture' might figure out a hyper-efficient way to desalinate saltwater, to produce less CO2, to capture the thawing methane ice, or tap more efficiently into a limitless alternative-energy source.

How one can think?
NO reproduction = sex?
No philosophy, mathematics, physics, metaphysics,
NO politics, NO ethics
Look at all the nerves in the brain
Alzheimer is a terrible diseases, damaging the brain beyond repair.|
Look how functional a healthy human neuron looks like, and how badly it can be damaged.
||Outdated knowledge is the most pervasive threat to the Earth today!|
It is our responsibility, our joy, our conquest to explore, to discover,|
to be able to help!
"Responsibility is born when the love, the feeling of care for others
grows stronger than the love for yourself."
Following the laws of Nature can make us more happy!
Well educated people look better! A study from Harvard University found a significant correlation between peoples' test scores and how physically attractive other people rate them to be.
So, let's work together for a better world, a better life, and better looking people!
We have tried to give you a little glimpse of the human brain.
