Hi, my name is Marianne Bonenberger. I am director of education at B+S+B. I studied Pedagogy at the University of Augsburg, Germany, and worked with students in several schools for 25 years. I love to teach, and I love it very much when people want to update their knowledge! People with better knowledge make better decisions! Science knowledge is changing all the time. Millions of scientists are doing research, trying new approaches, learning about new connections. Just think about the human DNA: How little have we had known about it 20 years ago! We knew very little about the inside an atom 20 years ago. My mother was taught the atom is the smallest thing on Earth. Today many scientists are working in quantum mechanics, the description of physics at the scale of atoms, and the even smaller scales of fundamental particles. Think about Earth tectonic plates and their movements causing earthquakes. Think about photosynthesis, science based biology, essential for life on Earth. So, what can I do for you? I can update your knowledge. With the use of the Internet, we will write to each other. I will ask you questions, and you will answer them as good as you can.
