Earth's Spheres
How life works - Spheres |

|
A perfect sphere is completely symmetrical around its center,
with all points on the surface lying the same
distance r from the center point. |
|
Knowledge about spheres is essential to understand life! Nature has been balancing spheres ![]() for billions of years. Sometimes spheres got more heavy, other spheres got bigger volume, but Nature always was able to balance all spheres with time ... Or to give you another idea how important the balance of spheres is: Think about a pool table ![]() Imagine if one ball on this pool table would be bigger or smaller, or one ball = sphere is out of lead or filled with gas. When spheres are not balanced the game of pool would be very different, not mathematical anymore, not predictable. Nature always was able to balance all spheres with enough time, but humans change some of Earth's spheres in a flash Now think about an atom - a very small sphere We know what happens when atoms get out of balance... And just to give you a glimpse, humans came up with names for different spheres: Asthenosphere Anthroposphere Biosphere ![]() Cyrosphere Chromosphere Atmosphere - see graphic below Cryosphere - see graphic below Hydrosphere - see graphic below Lithosphere - see graphic below ![]() Geosphere Hemisphere Ionosphere Pedosphere Mesosphere - see graphic below Exosphere - see graphic below Stratosphere - see graphic below Troposphere - see graphic below Thermosphere - see graphic below |
